I received my first RSU about 6 years ago and have received a new one every year for the past 6 years.
My advice is this, do not sell. I am literally becoming rich from RSUs. I have colleagues who have sold them immediately after they vest who are now kicking themselves.
I’m not saying never sell, instead hold for a few years at least, you may get as lucky as me.

@pc Dell was a private company from 2013 - 2018; 12 years ago was 2014, so not sure how you could have RSUs that are 12 years old.
