Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Harassment at large

From HR training I am pretty sure you cannot threaten someone their job because they ask you for help.to remove an impediment. Asking any HR person on here, current or ex Fiserv. This seems like a violation. This is how they are doing rifs when they say not performance based.

This place giving me heartburn and destroying my health. I have never taken so many mental days in my over a decade tenure. So not worth my energy anymore. Get out while you can. When you give this kind of effort, it feels deflating for new leadership to discount you.

Is anyone going to mention the CMO left? Another one. Not that that means anything since none of the last 3 were qualified to do the job. Today’s exit is a bit funny given we paid $1M for a partnership she and Clarkston drove w the SBA that culminated today though some pitch competition. Wonder if we got more leads from this sponsorship or from Shane W’s debacles like Southwest or her Forum calamity. Maybe all the good news is in the internal comms studio that keeps getting built up while we fire engineers who do actual product work. But, not sure any of that nonsense rivals AG’s ability to just survive despite failure after failure and come back leading something or other that he has no experience in. But there he is, front and center on any stage that can found next to guy who flies his personal plane every where (while Fiserv foots the gas) while both will
Inevitably talk about necessary cuts that just have to made. When does the board get involved?

@a2 it is a massive hostile environment beginning with the current CEO on down to directors.

You can't threaten a person with their job at most companies in the USA.

Do we work in the same area or is Fiserv just one massive hostile environment? New leadership threatening people with public shaming and hanging rifs over our heads as if we haven’t lived under that constant threat our entire careers. HR complaints of insubordination just because you dare to ask them to do their job.

Not in HR but definitely think creating a hostile work environment is a form of harassment.
