T and firstnet leadership are in a massive pressure cooker putting employees who support the network and services in the epicenter of the blast zone. The Department of Commerce Office of Inspector General (OIG) issued an explosive audit (Report OIG-26-015-A) explicitly stating that the FirstNet Authority failed to ensure network service availability and failed to verify that AT&T’s data was reliable and accurate. Combine that with previous OIG investigations revealing that senior officials actively obstructed audits and retaliated against employees, and it becomes completely clear why leadership imtends to scrub the ranks of anyone who knows the truth about fictional timelines and launches and capabilities. Ask yourself if your part of those teams or people you know who work in this area if they have ever been gaslit and pressured into sharing fictional status and fantasy timelines. Those who resist are marginalized, discredited and kicked to the curb. The October layoff is being we-ponized as a preemptive cover-up to silence “witnesses”. Firstnet employees are no longer just dealing with typical downsizig but an active obstruction of a federal investigation. If you are an employee in this area, consider yourself warned and protect yourself immediately and get out. Feigning ignorance won’t save you.

Why are people upvoting layoffs for FirstNet? When are these supposedly happening? I have a young family and need this paycheck like countless employees and Americans. Why would anyone expose this or vote this up? Do you think things are different and better somewhere else? FirstNet is our now and future so quit trying to senate it, we’re not perfect and management does hide the big picture from a lot of people and levels long before it gets to the Authority. Net sec and cso vulnerable are rampant and we will continue to launch no matter. I’ve been a part of many many many many projects over decades here and it’s always the same, evade, distort, feign ignorance and blame overpaid pms for bad statistics. We’re the original Enron they just got there first. We are fast o. Their heels and won’t get caught never have because to many are culpable and complicit. It’s not unique to T it’s human nature, I got a late start on the personal side so will have to work far beyond standard retirement and this program has the funding and mission to support my needs and for countless others. Quit rooting for failure and Stop calling out everything that everyone is doing other places to. The good thing is even if lots of us who support the program know what is going on we know not to bite the hand that feeds us. Entrance the government cash cow and drink the milk. Find another topic to rant about and let Firstnet keep being Firstnet. Peace out.
I know when I worked on FirstNet, when the truth was presented, showing compliance gaps to leadership, that should have been shared with the FirstNet Authority. It was swept under the rug. The Baich regime have ZERO ethics. Instead of doing the right thing, Baich and his lackeys just decided to debate with the oversight organizations, instead of actually fixing stuff.

Yes financials at T have no integrity that’s why they have to bring back a former employee to be CFO. A new person with integrity would blow the hold scam open.
Call the SEC if you are truly aware of misdealings related to shareholder value.
I wouldn’t be surprised if the reports got manipulated before going to the FNA. If the bosses or sales people review it beforehand, they are going to fudge the numbers to make themselves look good. I can tell you the people managing the deployment requests, pulling the data and putting these reports together put the correct info in the tickets and reports, what happens after that..idk.
Doesn't surprise me..leadership has a way of talking out there a** about see it report it, but then turn around and "surplus" those who actually report it or offer them a golden retirement to go byebye...not to mention, you want an audit, ok, but only tell me the "good" stuff, not the bad stuff..seen it first hand

Mob tech here. Zero surprise. FN is a complete schit show. I refuse to get involved in deployments. You’ll volunteer for a 5 hour drive and then they cancel a couple hours in. Their communication is absolutely awful. The other thing mgmt has us do is bill any kind of storm related overtime using the FN pay code. Company has been using federal dollars for their own budget needs. IMHO.
