There comes a point where you have to admit staying isn't doing you any favors. I've reached that point and I'm moving on. My new job is in a much smaller company, and I think it's a good thing. Qualcomm has taught me that in a place this big, you're nothing but a number.

There is a lot of war going on in RFIC, Taiwanese VP and Indian SVP are fighting to keep their people for promotions and key roles.
Folks at Qualcomm are not valued by their works. They need good 3rd party feedback by developing the good network. Those who have good network get the best rating automatically. Managers, directors, and VPs get used to this environment. No one wants to change since they are beneficiaries as well. It is serious problem at Qualcomm. I am glad bcs I am not there anymore.

Btw the make relationship part with directors/management is correct, i have relationship with my skips daughter 😆😝.
You need to learn how to make family relationships with leaders in your organization. In RFIC our SVP and Sr Dr RS have family relationships and you will see RS and his brother also RS never do anything but still survive all layoffs and get all promotions.
