Personal details from your profiles and possibly social media are used by impostors to scam you.
If any one reaches out on LI, look up their profiles with a lens and cross-check before giving up any information. Be careful with calendar invites and links.
Problem is Linkedin is infested with scammers. They hear a big company has a big layoff, they target the newly unemployed, figuring they'd be desperate for work. If they say they want to hire ex-Oracle, be very suspicious.
Also, if you're cut and choose to put on the #OPENTOWORK badge, make sure you have the visibility set to "Recruiters only". Otherwise ever scammer on the platform will be crawling all over your a$$.
In other words, if you wanted out and got cut, good for you. Just be careful out there, it's. jungle.
Most are scammers. It's brutal. Be careful.
Please specify which companies will be hiring former Oracle employees. Also, most of these LinkedIn jobs are likely ghost jobs.
