There have been so many examples of Nike losing the exact thing that made us good. It always seems to start with decisions that look harmless on their own, then suddenly you're wondering what happened. We have plenty of experience and resources, so watching this happen over and over is pretty frustrating. You'd think we'd eventually learn from it.

RAT and his corrupt gang needed to justify and expand their personal fiefdoms
simple as that. That is why you have 20 people and millions in budget working and not delivering programs that can be done in a weekend in a cave with box of scraps.
Or why launch big $$$ tech projects that nobody in the business is asking for and doesn’t add, improve or fix any business functionality?
Someone needs to do a cost to benefit analysis across all the systems and integration layers. Processes that have data hopping through 12 layers of custom stuff instead of using out of the box adapters between systems —- as Ricky Ricardo would say, “You’ve got some ‘splaining’ to do Lucy!”
