And what’s the bets the next CEO js a downstreamer or Dan the Man who knows nothing about the business. Brother Darren and his merry man have cut the ba--s off the upstreamers. He needs to leave soon before he watches his empire crumble with the constant cost cutting and all of the real talent being displaced by India

@sd Table stakes … XOM did not out perform the industry and as an investor you would have been better off with Dow Jones index … NASDAQ and S&P composites outperformed XOM multiple times …
As they say … in the land of the blind one eye is king.
@OP I agree. Our stock has tanked since he became CEO. XOM stock was trading around $77 and now it's around $160. That's a horrible return! Oh wait. A higher number is good. Shucks. I thought it was like golf. Oh well. Then, then, I don't like that he never wears a tie!
@d7 It is pretty obvious that he hates the upstream. Upstream is being targeted. Upstream employees being passed over for jobs in favor of unqualified downstreamers.
UNCON could be so much more profitable if we did what Rex said and ran it like XTO did
@d7 you clearly do not understand what a boot li---r is
@d6 how do you know what he hates? A low level boot li---r like you has no interactions with any senior LT
DWW just hates the upstream but makes so much of EMs money from it. His jealously and distrust has driven him to make poor long term decisions that will impact our results. The upstream is not the downstream and yet we are being looked at as the same business and same pay. Upstream are and will continue to leave and let the downstreamers manage it like a refinery. Here comes lots of process safety and reliability problems
DW is an absolute genius
You will leave before our savior DW
It is already too late. For a long time many of us held on thinking it would self correct. Now the only option is to leave. It will never return. It has gone too far. Too much upstream talent is gone. We knew of the great crew change and we just made it worse
