I’m just wondering why I shouldn’t leave a scathing review.
Do the suits get graded on survey participation instead of the actual survey responses?

If you really care for the company, you won't take the survey. When people answered it honestly last year, it resulted in the CEO publicly scolding his own employees, putting them on blast for sharing their opinions. It was embarrassing for this company, and our industry peers laughed at us. I will not be giving Stankey another chance to damage this company by taking his survey.
The only thing that bothers them is ambivalence. They want and expect bad reviews because they are actively trying to get people to quit because they hate their job. For whatever reason, indifference to these surveys is the only thing that draws their attention.
What kind of a question is “Do you want to work for T for next 12 months?” I mean the person who framed that question is an id--t. Should we answer, “No, but just filling surveys for fun”? 😤 I’d rather fill a survey monkey ad survey and get paid. Gimme back my 2 mins.
@de For bonus points, use AI to generate the responses. “Leadership” loves it when you use AI to do your job.
@ae you just don’t have the guts to express yourself
Why shouldn't you leave a scathing review?
If your not ready to be surplussed on the next round. That's one good reason.
They can figure out who said what.
The secret 4th option is to go comically and ironically ultra positive with a hilarious narrative about worshipping Satankey as a legendary business genius. At least your bosses will get a laugh out of that.
You want people not to take the survey because you you no guts to tell the truth.
Haven't completed a survey since I started. It's a complete waste of time and has zero impact on basically anything.
As others have said, it has been made very clear by leadership what my opinion or voice is worth. We've all seen how they share the results of the survey assuming they share them at all.
There's no transparency unless it has been thoroughly scrubbed and edited. It's all bs. Why waste your time?
Stanky literally said on some call about 2 months ago that the survey affects our bonus - not sure what you affect by not taking it or by leading negative comments other than your own paycheck.
and completing it is any different? use your brain sometime...
"Leadership is not grades by this survey. The poor scores only serve to reflect poorly on your org and local leadership in general."
This has been true for years. 90% of the questions will be about your immediate group, manager and maybe up to your AVP. Very few questions will be about the company or leadership, and the ones that are, a very carefully crafted to avoid negativity.
That just leaves your freeform text, which will get completely ignored by everyone above your manager.
Its, as it always has been, a complete waste of time. Take it or don't. It truly doesn't matter because
They.
Don't.
Care.
skipping the survey is like taking a dump on the second floor dallas building. do you really think that has any impact on Stank? since when does he clean the toilets
I’m not completing it because Stank made it quite clear last year that our opinions don’t matter. Therefore I’ll keep them to myself.
It’s voluntary. Your manager will try to tell you it’s mandatory. Don’t fall for it. Just don’t complete it.
Scathing responses are only left by employees who still care if the company succeeds. They are probably viewed as a huge positive by leadership. Bootlicking responses are just people who are desperate to keep their jobs. These are also viewed positively, but less so, as these are clearly self-serving. The non-response is the most feared of all - highly paid employees driven to compete apathy by terrible management.

Yes, an employee who answers negatively is still somewhat engaged and considered better than an employee so disengaged that they don't fill it out.
