At first, people still try to make things work even when the environment is bad, but eventually the constant stress starts taking something out of them. They stop bringing ideas and stop putting in extra effort because they've learned it doesn't make a difference. Before long, getting through the workday becomes the only goal. And that's where we're at now.

“The beatings will continue until morale improves”. That’s supposed to be a sarcastic and ironic joke, but maybe it’s posted in the board room??
There is no community within the departments. It’s every man for himself. For example, as you know, there is a flea infestation in Wilson. Some areas were not notified at all until it already occurred. Sone managers were letting their group stay home but did not tell other managers in the same area what he was doing so everyone could be on the same page. It’s ridiculous
Truist doesn’t live up to its own Purpose, Mission, and Values at all. Employee morale is non-existent and the executives and senior leaders couldn’t care less. They created this mess and environment with no plan to fix it. Many of us are holding on to hope that Mike Lyons will clean up and clean out and get us back to where we need to be!
