How high will it go? I sold most of my CVX years ago. I still have a good chunk but def not one of those all CVX EE’s. I’m mid career and already looking for the off rap. Building that 401k and pension till the next lay off. I’ve gotten nearly 20 years and this is a totally different company. Just going to take my job the best I can and ride it out as long as I can as well.

I'm keeping my ~ 1000 CVX shares. Reasonable dividend return plus nice upside tied to price of oil. I'm not looking for a quick buck otherwise I would have sold a few months ago when the share price hit $212/share. Nice stock to be part of your/my diversified portfolio.
@c5
you can buy yourself a gift for your own 20 year service award, no loss there.
@bk yes. Chevron is not a good place to work at anymore and I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone who values their sanity
Bummer. You didn't get your 20 yr service award then.
Smart move to exit on your own terms. Twenty years seems to be the magic career limit. I exited during the 2025 off ramp two months before my 20th anniversary date. The culture definitely changed during my tenure. The management ranks were being stacked with youthful ambitious influencers who know little to nothing about how neither the industry nor people work. They rule through PIPs and not leadership values. It's disgraceful to see how upper management embraces and advances this feckless round of managers whose only talent is making Powerpoints and Sharepoint sites. There are other companies out there who actually respect and reward talent. You won't find those values in the new Chevron Way. Good luck on the next set of off ramps.
