Thread regarding Open Text Corp. layoffs

Start setting some boundaries

For anyone who's completely burned out, here's something I've learned. You can push back on some of the nonsense and the sky doesn't immediately fall. A lot of managers aren't going to fire someone who is still carrying a big part of the workload. If you're already expecting cuts, there isn't much reason to destroy yourself trying to please everyone.

@a2 , it's you and the company damaging my mental health. I was fine before I joined opentext.

Completely agree. I’m totally burned out. It isn’t the work or workload - it’s the toxic culture, constant uncertainty and poor sr leadership across the board. Change is handled badly if at all, even good performers are getting slammed and honestly there is no life or spirit here anymore. Everyone is in survival mode abc that means backstabbing, conniving, nasty behaviour. Ayman is clueless, senior leaders are cliquey dullards with egos and the rest of us are relegated to burnout. No one cares. Be kind to yourself. You can love OT all you want, but it will never EVER love you back.

@OP agreed and confirmed 100%. If you are a poor performer with poor mental health then it's best you leave this rocket ship
