@ad how many YOE? Is it the same as before? 1 month base severance + 1 week for every YOE?
Got the email;.
5.5 months severance.
Message received at 3.01am. Terminated.
Ditto here in the U.S. Awoke at 3:30 am local time to find that any attempt to access email, VPN, Slack fails: "A sign-on policy is denying access. Contact your administrator and share the ecid _ with them." If this is it, I'm ready for it. Back to bed now for some sleep before I see what the morning brings.
Nevermind, they just fixed the glitch, no access again now...
Check your email and calendar again, was locked out but it just came back again for me as did the vpn. No slack though.
Still can access the Mac for now.

So, how are you supposed to know about being laid off?
