If you’re not someone who owns the service at the IC4/IC5 level, you’re probably on the list. The last RIF targeted similar roles, and leadership has been pretty clear that AI is increasing productivity and that we can get more done with fewer people. So, indirectly, management is being pushed to cut IC3 and below.
One thing I’d also keep in mind is when your RSUs vest. If a significant portion of your RSUs is scheduled to vest in the next 60 days, that could be an important factor to consider. That’s just how things seem to be playing out.

Everyone's layoff packet will include a distribution of role and level of each individual that was laid off. I think they include that for transparency and legal reasons.
Plenty of IC4 and IC5 will be cut. Why? Because they have the largest RSUs vesting in the next 50-60 days.
Other words, don’t stay as backup in the team
