@kq the workforce strategy is supposed to continue until the end of 2027. I doubt everyone they want to get rid of will be gone by the end of the year.
Teams with a trained up India replacement OR roles that BB thinks they can get rid of without a replacement are fair game at any point before then, of course.
We'll never know for sure, but evidence suggests that if your role was already slated to be moved to India, and you applied, and they don't immediately need you to work BBCON, you were accepted. It's certain that they selected the roles to be moved to India already, regardless of whether the person in that role applied for VSP. If the person in that role didn't apply, they'll get laid off before EOY.
I don’t think anyone actually knows except the ELT, and the way they manage, they don’t know either. They just got raging hard-ons thinking of money they will “save.” My guess is they looked at title and salary and if they thought you could be replaced by India or a MSP in the short term, and that is likely everyone, so I’m actually assuming most who applied got it. My hope is that every one of the ELT applied for it, but wishful thinking! Why would you quit a golden goose for pay and benefits when you can fail upward forever and ever and get millions for it?
