Based on conversations I’ve had internally, the comments on Reddit and this forum, and the Q2 earnings call (severance funds), it does appear that this Wednesday will have impacts across the entire bank.
What should we look out for? When would meetings get scheduled? Tuesday night? Wednesday morning?
Wednesday was the day. Meeting 1 on 1 with mgr moved from Thurs at 10:30 to Wed at 10. Sneaky.

I can confirm. Tomorrow is it. I got the email. And there is just no way to say how much work I have done on the consent order. They just don't care.
@ez I’m sure they are. Often they’re asked to cut a %. I asked my boss directly if our team was on the block this round and was told they hadn’t been notified of any impacts to our team this round, but who really knows

It’s happening Wednesday. You’ll get a call scheduled with HR usually in the morning. My team is going to have cuts that day. We already had them in May when my boss was let go and we will have them again in December.

@ee surprised they didnt cut just before VOE so Jane could exclude all those negative responses and continue selling the lie that everything is hunky dory at citi
@cv the only way it’s not 9/16, would be to wait until after VOE deadline, which would bump it to the following Wed. No later. They need to get this last round of 2026 in so even after a 90 day warn period, they can have that severence payout on the books this year.
