BofA is going to be left in the dust with AI big time. Their technology team is locking workers out of AI tools so that only tech can create them. Why you say? 80% for their own job security, 10% control and 10% tools are new to them. It is a sad day when their own job security will cause a company this size to lose the AI battle. We were already behind and tech’s selfishness will ki-l them.

I hope they deactivate AI! I’m so sick of it making my life MORE DIFFICULT. I can no longer manage my executives calendar the way I need to and AI keeps trying to add stupid things to my calendar. I hate it.
Technicals being selfish. That’s a childish assumption. The truth is that the business has been notoriously bad with their “tech” approaches. The last thing the bank needs is mo--ns trying to use AI. Guaranteed dumpster fire waiting to happen. Star Trek pakled work in the business.

BAC may be training a LLM on everything in BAC files on top of the model from an AI house. Such a tool may be able to do just about all of what our individual sub-optimal tools would do.
@OP Agree 100%. I have asked for a specific script that is run on various devices and appliances. Having access to the tool was denied. I offered to look at the code and suggest what changes are required to make the script pull accurate data versus pulling the same garbage data. I data is then put into an excel sheet that limits how much data I can modify.
I don't make the decisions, management does. It's simple python code. I am authorized to write and deploy code, but I am not permitted to critique a coworkers code?

@OP GIS is the reason why you have not been allowed to create and release an agent. There are many guardrails that must be in place to prevent a rouge or poorly written agent from doing harm to Bank sensitive data. There are new capabilities being rolled out over the next few months that may help you.
