The NSI’s and PIPoffs in EMGL are the worst I’ve ever seen. Even in the crown-jewel of upstream they’re accelerating massively. It’s not just the HC10 employees getting chopped either, it’s the locals too which is a really bad look.
Everything is so lean right now that everyone is expecting a break or crash just around the corner. The people who proudly cut the budget for 2026 and were excited to tell us they were going to run so lean well find the breaking point have been promoted to other places. The rest of us are holding the bag and getting blamed. I would say it’s typical corporate America, but it’s past that at this point, it’s negligence and we all hope it doesn’t lead to a health, safety, or environmental catastrophe.
