Why should anyone still care about 9/11? All it did was usher in the mass surveillance state we find ourselvesin now. Am I missing something?
@OP If you were working at Humana when 9/11 happened, you will remember seeing the look on everyone's face as we watched the a plane hit the second tower.
Humana executives were launching the first Online Payer Website in New York on that morning. Many, if not all of Humana's senior executives, were right there when the towers were hit. David Jones was a true heroic leader that cared about everyone's safety. A book was published that contained excerpts from those who were on this trip. Find out how everyone safely got home.
I spent a long time at Humana and the leadership, trust, and pride associates once had, has certainly been drained.
I have strong feelings about why this is happening, but our company's history in one the "Old Timers" can proud of.

Former Humana executive Bob Walt was in a meeting at the World Financial Center, directly across the World Trade Center, that day.
NOBODY talked about it. Not a single post.

A CEO is the leader and therefore is completely responsible for any and all corporate messaging that goes out to all employees.
A CEO is also responsible for any and all public statements as well as all operations of the company.

They obviously forgot and care less. Not making them any money worry about this date. Just another date. They care more about their stupid survey and sending our jobs overseas while replacing people with AI.
