For mass layoffs in departments, for this round do they have the manager come talk to you one by one or will everyone get an email and meeting invite since it will be so many meetings?

Citibank and some co workers just work, they do not manage their careers. I'm rooting for the cooter banker. Seriously, Sept 16th or even the new October and November dates in line with pink taco tuesday, the dates make sense. No where is the baby powder? Melbourne is behind you mate!

In my case I was fired over a last-minute phone call. Best day I ever had at Citi. Organization is spiraling down. People were lost and no leadership. Very sad.
Net-net - 16 years and retirement / Medicare on my doorstep. 8 months severance.

I was lucky to take the sabbatical right before and I was able to work on my portfolio so when it did happen I wasn’t sc--wed, had my portfolio done and ready to go

In my case, it was a meeting invite sent by my manager's manager manager. So 3 levels up. I was a C13 role. He sent the invite titled "confidential discussion" around 10AM, and the meeting took place at 11AM. I already knew what it was going to be about since my colleagues from other states started sending good-bye messages on Teams. Reality wake up call: we are just a number in their spreadsheets.

Why are you guys are assuming about the layoff..It's not this month .It's everyday, some people. No mass lay offs. Not next week. Just chill!
Previous rounds were a mass meeting invite goes out at 8 am central for a meeting at 10 am and the ones in the invite are being laid off
@OP Beware of the late Tuesday or super early Wednesday “catch up” zoom invite. I have my “goodbye” email all prepped and addressed, ready to hit send the second my boss says “I have a script to read”…..
