Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

Global town hall. More incompetent leadership.

The executive’s logic around base pay creates a classic corporate "death spiral." While linking pay increases exclusively to revenue growth sounds like sound fiscal discipline on paper, it relies on a fundamental misunderstanding of labor economics, operational risk, and human capital dynamics. More flawed thinking. Punishing employees for Leadership failures is what they are doing. The new guy is d-mber than a box of rocks. This town hall was another demotivating waste of time.

@d5 Totally agree with this post. The company is beyond repair. If you’re young, do all the training and get out. Myself, I’m at the other end doing absolutely F all (except timesheet on a Friday) and will wait for VR. Until then, another 0% pay rise means I continue to do 0% effort. It’s a sad way to end what’s been a good career in IT but the demise of DXC is solely at the hands of its past/present leaders.

The corporate stooges have the nerve to blame the workers for not generating revenue when it’s their leadership and guidance that has got us here. I don’t know where they found this new lawn gnome but he seems to slow. Love how all the clowns wore the same shoes. Fu--ing lemmings.

I've become used to my 0% pay rises. But equally used to not doing much for this company. I've been disincentivize to care, and my focus has shifted to early retirement. It's no longer in my interests to do a good job because I want to be the next one who gets VR from the team. This is what the management policy drives. They have ki-led this company, and all passion the employees have for doing an even half decent job. None of my colleagues care, and very few seem to even know what they are doing. They certainly won't share if they do! So either DXC pay me to leave now, or they will pay me to do very little and the net outcome in my bank will be about the same.

Certainly sent the wrong message when they responded to the question on pay. Was quite p#ssed off actually. They pointing the finger at employees for lack of growth etc., really!

Then the executives and board shouldn't get pay , stock options , bonus based on the same criteria
