Anyone who sits behind a CRT for more than 6 hrs a day is subject to serious health complications both mentally and physically and even moreso when the subject matter is depressing.

@aq People do, this is why turnover is insane at the company. Normal managers would see this as an issue, but not at SF.
@q4 That perfectly describes the generation coming out of college that the colleges and parents have raised.
State Farm has basically no ties with colleges/graduates anymore for hiring.... As soon as decent new hire walks in the door the saxophones starting playing, they hear the smoke detectors chirps and almost get run over by a Nissan Altima with gold rims. The weed smell in the elevators is also a good sign to turn around and go back home and find another job! We basically now stand down at the DMV, unemployment line, or wait for McDonalds to fire them and they are hired! Place is a complete and total sh-t hole!
State Farm has always had strong ties with colleges and what comes out of colleges. State Farm has failed miserably by buying into the indoctrination the colleges have been putting out. The work ethic is not the same and there is absolutely no loyalty on all levels. It is a recipe for disaster. Very unhealthy environment.

We are in 2026, not in the 1990s for CRT. See, this is why ageism happens in tech. You don't want to adopt new technologies in the workplace to alleviate some of the "physical and mental complications".
@ed.......No that is not it, women did not take roofing jobs, constructions jobs, harvesting produce, dish washers, and all the other hard manual physical labor jobs that the illegal males were/are doing that Americans are too lazy to do! Yes flooding 20+ millions illegals into the country impacts supply and demand.....the main problem the previous person noted is about DEI, check the box, and continuing to bring in a lemming workforce of sheeple and the complete erosion of society by the those that are incompetent, unstable, evil and greedy!

@bv When I saw that stat the other day that 98 of every 100 new American jobs in August went to women, it seemed insanely impossible but it's true! Over the past 12 months employment by women grew more than 870k while men LOST around 1.5 million jobs. Does anyone truly understand how insane that is when the US has more males than females aged below 60?!
Actually I used to believe in that lie, "you control your own destiny". You control your own path. Everything these days is a lie, con, or some messed up scam. Evil is real! During COVID 94% percent of all new hires in corporate America were minorities. Women secured roughly 98% of the 162,000 net new U.S. non farm payroll jobs added in August 2026, according to Bureau of Labor Statistics. 1 in 3 males are not in the workforce-DEI! In 2026, US workers are getting the smallest share of the profits in history. Our nation is $40 trillion dollars in debt, and the moment you are born, the government puts you in debt $120,000+. If you look at true unemployment and underemployment it is sitting at 25%. 106 million people not in the labor force which are record lows. AI is estimated to eliminate 50-70% of current jobs by 2032...... Social Security is insolvent by 2032. Our society is debating what is a man or woman, kids need permission to go on a field trip but not to have a s-x change or abortion, grown men performing drag shows for 1st graders, is it ok to ki-l your 3 children if you have a sad day, and communism! Sorry @aq, yes it might be possible but it has never been harder in this upside down world to determine your own path. If history tells us anything, the path that our society is on does not turn out very well. Ohhh and thank you Booomers! Great job!
