Allegiance is a TPA thats been owned by Cigna for some time now and up until last year handled its own hiring/ firing process, benefits for employees and totally independent CEO. We were fully integrated with Cigna’s HR structure 1/1/2026. Our entire hr department was let go during this change. We were promised nothing would change except our benefits and we’d have access to apply to cigna internal positions. This hasnt been the case. Our entire reimbursement account department was just let go. This used to be such a nice small company to work for and now we are being run into the ground

Allegiance was already sort of a mess (I worked with them directly on a couple of large cases) but full integration with Cigna will be the final nail in the coffin.
It's weird that Cigna "sort of" has a TPA and wants to put more national accounts business on Allegiance, but has never invested in creating an actual efficient, scalable TPA. Allegiance has no chance against TPAs like Meritain or UMR.

@ah we aren’t surprised just disappointed. Our higher ups used to be transparent with us. We used to have actual humans in our HR. Cigna has become a cancer for us
Its how the break everything...promises not kept should not have been a surprise.
It’s because you haven’t learned how to Lead To One.
Sounds normal, you will be integrates into Cigna’s infrastructure.
