Return equipment

Does anyone know where we send our laptops if our last day was 9/4? I haven’t seen any instruction.

@a4 they don’t want the monitors back. But if you feel like you’re making bank getting to keep some monitors, you can get them for $10 on Facebook marketplace.

@d8 Yes, it is listed in the email. All equipment to include laptop, Chromebook, monitors, docking station, desktop, printer, Centene issued accessories, access badge, panic button, duo, Yubikey, hard tokens.

@d6 did they provide you with a list of the equipment they had on file that you needed to return?

You will receive an email with instructions on how to return the device. Pay close attention to the approved FedEx locations they provide—they offered me three options.

Also, keep in mind that they have a record of the equipment they issued to you. My suggestion? Send them everything, and keep documentation of everything you return. Cover yourself.

In my case, I received an email stating that they were going to report my device as stolen. I immediately replied with the tracking number, confirmation of delivery, the date it was delivered, and the fact that it had been signed for by someone at Centene. Thankfully, I had all of that documentation.

Their email may say that once you mail the equipment back, you don't need to do anything else. Based on my experience, I would still recommend replying to that email with the tracking number and confirmation that you shipped the equipment back.

Keep copies of the emails, tracking information, delivery confirmation, and anything showing who received the equipment.

Protect yourself and keep a paper trail. You don't want to be surprised later by an email saying your device is being reported as stolen. Better to have the documentation and not need it than to need it and not have it.

@OP I got the email the following week after my last day employed by the company. Last day was a Friday, got the email that Monday. Keep a copy of your tracking and receipt. They obviously don’t, held up my check for a day until I sent a copy via email. Yes it came to personal email.

Instructions haven't been sent yet. I'd expect to see something after the long weekend. They have to be returned via FedEx.

And speaking of returning your equipment -will they really notice if I forget to send back a monitor or two?
