Rumor has it the next round of ISPs will take place later this year and in T1 2027. Any truth to this? On the one hand, I’m sad to hear it, knowing many families will be impacted. On the other hand, I’ve seen too many instances of friends hiring friends, people hired into positions they’re not qualified for. As a result, work is not getting done, and others have to pick up the slack. Whatever happened to “an honest day's work for an honest day's pay”? Where is the accountability??

@230 I know we are having the whole firm go through a job title "restructure" where everyone has their role "re-evaluated" and that has to be done by end of year. They are saying it is to have new titles for the role (why??) so it aligns with the work (we just freaking did this last year!). But, we all know what that means. "Sorry john doe, we have decided your role is no longer needed for the 2030 vision, thank you for your service."
@OP minus small groups here and there they've been quietly doing all year, next big one is a bunch of CSTs early next year

@vh what is the reasoning? We have work to do and being moved around doesn’t make a lot of sense. If we could focus on deliverables for a couple of years without reorgs that would be great.

Yes, I think anyone who has been paying attention for longer than 5 minutes knows the play book. With LP offers open until January, and this company needed a lot of buy ins, they will not make any big moves until after the LP offer is closed. The next "wave" of cuts will be TLs, DLs and other lower level associates. They will also tighten the sc--ws on any remote workers by forcing relocation by 2028. 5 days in office will also be in play to get more people to quit. The AI obsession will be the reason for more home office cuts. They figure "Layoffs caused by AI efficiency" is a better headline for local STL media. Employees will be forced to use co pilot so the % of use is jacked up on paper to justify these cuts. What will really be happening though is more offshoring to our new GCC in india. 2027 is going to make 2026 look like a walk in the park.
@ there will be more layoffs and more qualified associates will be replaced with unqualified associates. I think we should all be prepared for reputational risk and additional class action lawsuits.OP
