Pension Boost at MR75??

How do I find out if I’m eligible for a pension boost at MR75? Where do I look?? Legacy Cingular here.

Means nothing and there are no retirement benefits unless you count 30% off your wireless bill.

“ i'm surprised there are people left here who could qualify for MR75“

Probably at least half of my team of 20 (including me)…

It is shocking how some of you literally don’t know anything about your benefits. anyway, if you in fact are on the Cingular (Mobility) management, cash balance plan…MR 75 has no impact on that whatsoever. It’s a cash balance plan. What you see is what it is.

Depends on your plan. One of my peers, started at PacBell walked with nice lump sum on top of his 401k while I am going to be lucky to get 200K.

M75 applies to Former Bellsouth and PacBell. Rising interest rates have big impacts, reducing lump sum payout. My lump sum was almost 500k while one of my peers with 2 more years with company only got 125k as he started with legacy AT&T while I started with Bell. Not sure about the remaining like Ameritech.

If you have a legacy Cingular pension, MR75 doesn’t mean anything.
