When is the next round of IT layoffs? A lot of my team was affected in the last round I have a feeling my turn is coming up. Will it be before the end of the year? In this market most of us are in big trouble if we lose our jobs. It is rough out there

There is 10 times the number of folks in Seattle vs overland Park. The seats aren't enough for all the ones in Seattle. Seattle is got most of the over costly IT
@f4 very few actual infrastructure builders are left in IT, just technocrats and politics players.

I work at Ravinia and have lost interest at this point. Been here too long and am burnt out. Let me tell you 99% of people on my team will be unemployed for a very very long time if they get laid off and would fail a technical screening interview. Their skills are obsolete. I know people who have been interviewing with no offers. The bar is extremely high especially in this market.
@ee I’m sure Sirini is quite aware off Jeff’s failures and has his replacement already lined up. He can’t roll too many c-suite people out too quickly as the markets will perceive this as weakness.
Unfortunately IT won’t get better until Jeff is gone. Be patient, bad apples eventually fall from the tree 🙏

Honestly I will take a package if they give one to me. I’ve heard talks of them shutting down the Atlanta office entirely and I couldn’t be more ready
