If the goal is 75k, they need to cut 45k people, currently at 120k, so 3-10% cuts over the coming months gets us to about 87k, then they refactor back to make sure nothing broke. Leaves them room to cut some more if needed

There is no exact number that we will know on our level, he-l with those June-July layoffs which were large, no one knows the number of employees that were impacted.
Stank britches and others have eluded to 75K +/- being the sweet spot AI non-withstanding of the headcount for active employees that they are looking to eventual get to.
If you're looking for longevity you're with the wrong company, just make and save as much as you can, and use every perk and benefit while you're here..hope for the best prepare for the worst is the T employees unofficial motto
