A lot of people stay in jobs they don’t enjoy because they’re financially tied to them, even if they dislike what they do every day.

I quiet quit years ago and now got my WFR. Hallelujah! Glad l finally got cut lose from such a sh!te company... on to greener pastures.
Will quit once I find a new job (to replace Dell and my 2nd job). However, several years and no bites. So, stuck here in daily stress.
Like the job, dont like what corporate greed has done to the company....
JC, BS, MD, KL, Pete need to comment about the pay and the backlog situation and how thousands of sellers are not being paid on commission rn

You don’t like your job, you constantly on the layoff site and your comments tell the real story. A new chapter usually starts with the courage to end the old one.
There comes a point when staying is no longer loyalty, it’s choosing your own unhappiness.
Only a fool keeps choosing a situation he already knows will never change.
@OP how naive of you. People have personal responsibilities, families to care for, obligations. The job market is mediocre-soft.
Employees at Dell deserve better treatment than received for the past 2-2.5 years. It is the front line doing the brunt of the work for the past two historically successful quarters. Anyone who disputes this is ignorant.

I like my job. Doesn't mean I have to accept any BS the management throws at me and work for a slave pay.
Also not my job to quit. Sandbagging until the company realizes they have to come up with some realistic numbers. Then we can talk again. If they don't like it, it is their job to fire me but pay me the severance which I am entitled to receive.
There are levels of dissatisfaction. I think in the last several years, the levels have increased.
Trying to get a new job is crazy. I have a few friends that have been out for almost two years and it isn't from lack of trying. One is running into financial issues. People were not prepared for the job market turning the way it did in the last several years.
