FYI Since the high cost locations list is shorter than the low cost locations list, here are the High Cost Locations where Citi has corporate offices (NOT bank branches and NOT in any particular order):

Japan
U.S. States:

Virginia

Washington
If you're NOT in any of the above locations, you're in a Low Cost location.
Be aware, being in a Low Cost Location is NOT a Bvllet-Proof vest🦺 Or Lamb's Blo0d 🐑 that will always and forever protect you from the Layoff-Angel-of-De@th.
You will be protected only sometimes and more than being in a High Cost location. But you will Not be protected 100% all of the time.
These are the "managers" Sh!tibank keeps employed and on its payroll.
Yet Sh!tibank is so oblivious, it Still wonders why it has problems NO other financial institution has and is the Laughing 😁 stock Pariah of Wall Street!
They're the "managers" who have as much as 50% of their direct reports Quit every year, or every 12 month cycle. Quit. NOT Laidoff or flat out Fired.
And at a minimum 30% Quit.
The "managers" who have such high Quit Rates actually believe this is perfectly normal or the normal course in the evolution of teams.
If a company has a manager who has 30% or more of their direct reports Quit every year, clearly it's NOT the employees who are the problem.
Yet, Sh!tibank and/or their own "managers" are oblivious to these facts.
All of these factors negatively affect the company's revenue and profits, even if indirectly.
Most of the time if your manager gets laid off, you are not far behind them. Ask me how I know lol.

My "manager" in Tech/Data is incompetent, toxic, cruel, unhelpful, mean, callous, condescending and an All around AS$Hole just like 90% of the "managers" in Tech/Data.
If he lost his job, it’s unlikely he could secure another position with comparable salary and benefits (medical, pension, dental etc.). I will feel absolutely NO guilt in having Schadenfreude if he got Fired or Laidoff.
In fact, I'll being in free food (cake, lasagna, whatever I haven't decided yet.) into the office to celebrate with my co-workers. This is how much I truly HATE HIM. And I do mean HATE, just like most of the employees in Tech/Data feel about their "managers".
He's the worst "manager" in the universe and certainly the worst one I've ever worked for. I've worked long enough to know when someone is a bad and toxic "manager".
In addition to the negative and toxic behaviours described above, they're also the ones with high turnover, Quit Rates annually, generally 30%+ of their employees Quit every year. Quit (NOT fired or laidoff).
These are red flags and bad signs. Losing at least 30% of your employees every year results in lost institutional and historical knowledge, information and skills. Also, employees aren't in their jobs long enough to become SMEs subject matter experts.

Not my boss, they are cool. I do want to see the jack-ar-e director who has decided to be the RTO police for the entire office get sent packing. They are there EVERY day because their home life su-ks and his wife hates him, so he's decided to track everyone's days and times in the office and email our immediate supervisors if we miss a day here and there or only come in for a few hours on any given day. Dude needs to get a life.

No, my manager is incompetent, and if they lost their job, it’s unlikely they could secure another position with comparable compensation and benefits. They have family to support so I genuinely hope they can stay until retirement.
I hope I can get laid off so I can escape this he-l.
I honestly do not wish hardship on anyone. Sometimes you wish bad luck on someone, it falls back on you. Remember that.
