I find it rather bizarre that there is no acknowledgment anywhere on CNet about the pending departures of so many people, or who is leaving. I took the VSP and feel bad for everyone else- those left behind and those forced out.

Nothing bizarre about it. There are valid reasons not to publish details. Legal, data, etc. Extremely common practice.
@af and told actual names?! My dept just met and identified the gaps and plans for backfills. We were left to fill in the gaps and figure out who is going on our own or if these people said something.
I cannot speak for everyone but rest assured some of us ISPers are anxiously counting down to Friday. Do not feel bad. Things happen for a reason. This is my second go around here. There is life on the other side. Best of luck to everyone on their journey and be glad Centene will not be a part of it.
@ac My department was informed about VSP employees and laid-off employees.
@a2 have not been in or heard about one meeting with fond farewells to VSPs or ISPs. It’s radio silence
@a2 legally they cannot mention names of who took vsp or got laid off - its up to folks to divulge that on their own.

@a2 I think the OP is in the same boat as me and hasn't heard a single thing, let alone all these "kind farewells to VSP'ers." I haven't heard anything about anyone leaving, VSP or not, so I'm curious what work will look like on Tuesday when everyone's emails start to bounce because no one has any idea who's left.
@OP I totally understand, but mentioning those who took VSP would be a slap in the face to those who are part of ISP (meaning laid off involuntarily). It's bad enough that ISP folks must continue attending meetings to: 1) hear all the kind farewells to VSP'ers, and 2) listen to employees who were not impacted either way continue with business as usual. An announcement seems insensitive on top of employees being overtly happy to still have a job.
