Can anybody share what the package looks like? Is health coverage provided outside of the first month?

@hm In the 800 person late 2024 layoff, Solventum covered $1000 per month of the Cobra payoff for six months. After that, we paid for all the Cobra insurance ourselves - about $1850 per month in our case. Can't speak to the current layoffs.
@db someone a year ago told me they pay for 6 months of cobra coverage. Can anyone confirm this with the most recent layoff?
By law you get COBRA. Solventum (or any other company) must provide separated employees (including those laid off or retired) up to 18 months healthcare and dental/vision coverage at cost. You will keep your health insurance but be prepared to pay 3x-5x more in premiums.

14 days for every year of service with a maximum of a 184 days. There’s offer of cobra. I’ve been too stunned to look thru the specifics of the information.
