The best way I can describe this vibe in this store is cult like
And if you are not in the cult or have a mind of your own you are shunned
A bunch of people have quit and said once you go work someplace else, it’s very evident that belk is a cult
If you see anything like this, not only at Belk, but any other company, you should run for the exit.This is the epitome of a toxic workplace.

The store manager at my store is very inexperienced
Does not have a clue what to do. no clue at all.
I worked at a store with a similar situation. The store manager was more concerned about spying on his employees. Had most of the sales floor managers spying for him (mostly female managers). People had enough and they ended up transferring him to another store.
At my store the people who are associates should be managers and the people who are managers should be associates. It’s backwards.
They need to purge central GVP. He is the common denominator in the deterioration of Belk. A total je-k off Macys reject.
definitely happening in the raleigh region! we have a manager who collects young girls like pokemon and trains them to do his bidding. like a little network of spies. it's sad to see these impressionable people so easily manipulated.
