Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

How come HR has higher privileges and have room to insult other employees ??

The H in HR is Human... but exactly that is what they lack..

When a long term employee is being terminated for whatever business reason.. how the he-l your opinion matters.. you should treat them with professionalism and dignity during the few minutes of zoom call.. but you treat them like they have committed some kind of crime..

Why can't you behave dignified and respectful.. and provide all HR related answers to those being terminated.. instead of treating them like cockroaches..

They served Fiserv clients for a long time.. ofcourse you have no clue of it.. but you got a chance to berate someone.. and you just do it.. ??

@cv Well said. very true..

Hopefully Mr. Takis and Executive management take a note of this popular opinion by experience from employees.

@hk Let’s bring badge reports, Sapience, and Tom Higgins back to Fiserv. We can see if HR is working or not! We should get rid of every single contractor and associate stealing time from the Company. While we’re at it, audit T&E!

@cv A LOT of employees agree on this.. atleast someone has courage to post it here.

Has anyone seen any HR management working during night OR over the weekend or early morning hours during the production maintenance windows ??

Are they on call ever to cancel/delay their family commitments ??

Here is the fact.. the Tech folks, including their management at different levels, supporting clients 24x7 commit to all of the above.

HR shows up at 9AM on Monday morning and starts looking for who they can harass/intimidate that week, before they have to leave by 4:30PM.. No written standards on professionalism, ethics, dignity or decency in treating other employees.

So who is really building the Fiserv .

Half of the HR management can be well replaced by AI.. first layer to look at..

Make this public indeed, Glassdoor, LinkedIn. The only way to get companies to start acting right.

@OP Zoom call? What company do you work for? Fiserv doesn’t use Zoom.

Shouldn’t be news to anyone who reads this, but HR is not here for you. They are here to protect the company from you. Those conversations are short by design, less exchange the better for legal reasons. Yes, it su-ks.

No need for HR if they don't care, might as well use AI and save the money. Maybe the AI will have more empathy built into it for this type of service.

HR is a joke in this company. Half of them should go. Any type of hiring or other tasks they outsource anyway because they’re basically incompetent.
