There’s always a Reorg around the corner because our leadership can never get it right
I heard yesterday that PepsiCo globally will be going through a flattening exercise to reduce the layers. There will less layers most and with minimum number of direct reports, yet another way to get rid of more people.

Kinda. They are not backfilling open roles unless absolutely critical and approved at the highest C-levels. They will do some restructuring but it will be rolled out as minor or not even noteworthy. Some divisions have already seen this transpire. Many groups have seen many employees leave and if you pay attention room, you will see that they are not posting new role. This is an approach that should not scare the shareholders, because it isn’t anything major.
Your best option is to have your resume ready and move on before you are laid off.
From reading the posts on this site, it seems like the heart and soul of the company is gone.
@av Most of S&T Leadership are from the big consulting firms; Accenture, E&Y, etc..no real world experience, just theory. They are great at consultant speak word salad; baffle with BS as they say.

It was obvious from the AOP town hall the execs use buzz words and have no grounding in the business or know how to fix anything. These people are way in over their heads.
I would say I don’t believe it. How many reorgs have we been through in such a short amount of time. They should stop and formulate a working plan before throwing multiple reorgs against the wall to see what works. This is embarrassing.
Whats worse is every plan is the greatest thing ever and then it becomes…well…that didn’t really work. Now we have something better that is the greatest thing ever. Perpetual cycle.

Yes, more than likely in September but could get pushed to October.
