It’s not ‘life’. These are decisions made by specific Tech leaders to betray the thousands of engineers who built Nike Tech. Everyone will be discarded, you included. And the quality of your work will be irrelevant because you’re a number on a spreadsheet to your VP, and that number will never be lower than an ITC salary.
It’s disgusting, and it isn’t normal or acceptable.Stop pretending otherwise.

This is just another cycle of contraction in the USA and expansion in India, which will eventually reverse when/if the economy improves (assuming Nike leadership figures out how to convince kids to want their product instead of the hot new whatever). It su-ks, but it's life.
If you have the resources, use the time to upskill so you'll be in a good position to hire on or move up when jobs open in the USA or EMEA.

If you are close enough to our clown circus ringleaders you understand this last round was a serious wakeup call that flippant RIF without clear and aligned strategy has an inexorable offsetting toll on productivity at the same time as the uptick in reliance on ITC went off with a whimper if not a backfire. Leaders were living in a fever dream this last round and they know it. Voluntary attrition is to the moon, we will see that ride for some time
You can bet your bottom dollar GT will be shrunk more but it will be after whatever d-mbassery of a next strategy realignment and after a business side reset
ITC will take 90% of engineering, leaving WHQ with strategy and some architecture only. I think the next round of tech layoffs will be the final one. Biggest one too. By far.
