I want 30 sales this week, that breaks down to 5 per day, here is a sales plan that involves free time and I want you to call people until you get 30 sales. Same every week and the rvp has done his job. The tools are a cr-ppy POS system, Internet phones and the same call lists week after week. Low sales the store gets blamed high sales the management gets bonuses . You want stock prices to climb get rid of these do nothing fools and put your effort where your customers are. Revenue is generated by stores fools. Dm's rvps svps don't make the company a dime and almost none of them even know how to take a payment. Make us do Amazon returns with the business model of let the stores do all the work with no support or training and ignore what happened to Kohl's. I don't sell cars or insurance I work rent to own. These returners aren't shopping their returning. You are trying to teach us to swim by saying there is water nearby. You have never gotten wet yourself. Ernie Talley ran the business and saw a need. These fools now think since they wear the hat they are chefs but the truth is stock price is low and their middle men are clueless. Blame everyone else but the fault is in the mirror Blasquez. @tz I wouldn't put my name on it until after it was fixed . Maybe the new owners will give it a new name like quality home online leasing. If they leased online like we lease in the store with verified ordrer forms and people like a legit operation.
@18e I started in 04/96 with Royce rentals and got bought out by rent a center then renters choice
@18e we profit at a 25% average. It's a little struggle right now but it happens now and then.
@18f yes that right. Right on top of the market list with our .19 and the bottom being 11.3. our market average is around 5 which is company target.

@10e I started in 96 and I know and have known many VPs and RDs, never have I heard the tale of .2 charge offs , where is all your profit going?
@tz I execute the process every day and my store is very successful. Always at least 25% profit and ytd losses under .2 percent. Yes .2 percent. I have great rapport with my customers and know them by name. The problem is this company relies solely on telemarketing for sales and all the management from DM and above do is set goals they make up. The telemarketing lists are the same week after week and so are the weekly once in a lifetime sales we run. All management can seem to do is say if we had this many sales we would be at this much revenue which is no help and in fact now that we do charity returns for Amazon I don't have time to listen to their worthless conference calls.
@va they might know who I am but they never hear what I am saying. I have pleaded with the CEO on down to quit ruining the company I have put my life into but because they think they know something no one listens. My store losses so far this year are .19%. thats right under.2 percent. The company doesn't even care if you have income to approve you to rent.
