When did Allstate start using a company called Pilot by Robert E Uhler License 4028069 to handle personal auto policy liability claims? I didn’t know we contracted out our LdU claims.

Pilot has been ding work for Allstate for at least 20 years. I worked with Pilot adjusters my entire career on the claims side.
Not surprising. They will sub out anything they can to this vendor.
It very much is a tail-wags-the-dog situation. Always felt sketchy but no-one (state insurance boards, SEC, investor groups) has ever looked into it very deeply.
