I get it. You want to sell the company. Typical pattern. Reduce staff to a minimum. Cut every cost possible. Move all actual work offshore. Make it look very attractive to potential buyers.
So how attractive would a company look when it’s customers disappear, because they can’t get service, because the employees can’t use their machines, because their CTO displaced ALL of the Technology people it depended on, to manage the sole application that images those devices?
Wave is available to most users, but they refuse to use it. You could force them, but then you’d drive capacity over the edge. Not to mention the huge licensing cost and security risks with BYOD
