I get the frustration, but walking out with nothing? With layoffs everywhere, severance is practically guaranteed. Why throw that away?

IFDS, DST or SS&C whatever and whenever you worked there we can all agree it’s a sh*tfest of a company to work for…. Lousy pay, benefits, environment and grandfathered employees everywhere…a decent place to start out not end up!
I still work at SS&C and wish I would get laid off…it’s like pleeeeeezzzzzeee put me out of this continual misery…££££
I mean the severance packages are a joke. They aren’t even 1 week per year.
@OP Who says you'll get a severance? If you're not saving on your own you're d-mb and fit right in at SS&C.

Sometimes it is too painful to stay. SS&C is very toxic and some people cannot take it anymore …
