I wonder how long we will have to wait for the VSP to be paid out after 9/4/26. They will require verification of our equipment return first, and it will only be paid out on a regular pay date. It could possibly be a month or more before they pay any of us. Hopefully we will receive our severance packet soon.

@c0 Well they did. So there you are.
It’s legally not possible. Maybe best you’ve been vsp’d.
@b2 Sorry not sorry, yes they did and yes they held up my check until it was received. Fortunately I sent the info right away. I am already gone and went through it. Please do not share misinformation.
@b2 #1) Verification of equipment return is a standard practice for companies who have remote workers. #2) The VSP FAQs on Centene website specifically states that VSP will only be paid out on a normal pay date. #3) Where did I say anything about checks being withheld? #4) STFU
They never ask for verification when you send your equipment back, and legally cannot withhold paychecks. Never have, never will. Your direct supervisor may ask for their own knowledge but BTS will not. Stop spreading lies.
Make sure you keep your receipt for shipping. They made me send verification that I returned it before I got my last check. You would think they would track that themselves, but apparently they don’t.
I was told the check would be received the day of seperation.
@OP your so lucky to get to leave already. I hope you get your pay asap. A VSP rep said next paycheck but I don't fully know. Gish I hope it doesn't take forever. The bills ain't gonna stop for Centene:(
From a layoff earlier this year, I received the severance payment 4 weeks after my last working day. I did sign the severance papers immediately though, so any delay in signing would extend that timing.
