Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

Still calling the acquisition "growth"

Next quarter should be interesting when that nonsense rolls away.

LOL. They are only profitable because of the tariff refund.

@b3 it is revenue...it's correct to count it...but it's not business and it is not happening every quarter. Most interesting thing is they are stuffing Channel with supplies: it cost nothing to them and generate huge revenue...but it is a kind if last chance to pump up numbers before dying because distributors are asking huge rebates to anticipate money in stock. 10% of upfront rebate on list price is massive when toner is sold and you need to credit back distributors the street price-bid price difference....

Getting the tariff refund isn't growth, I don't understand why they are counting this.

@ac there are couple of things to pay attention to. 1) revenue is declining overall (see pro-forma) 2) there is non-recurrent benefit from tariffs 3) You see +50% revenue but only +20% costs - explanation is on 'supplies/paper sales' +166%. They are selling toners upfront l, possibly with a huge upfront rebate. It's a known scheme used by Lexmark to be financed by distributors but which, ultimately, destroy the business ki-ling profits mid-term

@ac Probably going up because the average attention span of individuals these days is 5 seconds. Additionally, the average person on the street probably would never believe the magnitude of lies corporate managers are comfortable with. Revenue is continuing to decline, and these geniuses report it as growth. The discussion is never lets make the reporting clear, it's always what can we say and get away with.

@ac Look, this will continue to yo-yo for exactly 5 months to the day (12-30-2026) and King Louie will pull the plug to get his bonus and then adios!

I’m confused why the stock is going up. This forum here is a collective group of the smartest investors in the world that know everything about Xerox even though they don’t work here anymore. All of you are financial geniuses and are super business savvy. My confidence in this site has been shook once again.

Bringing down debt by borrowing is debt. Bringing down debt by selling your assets isn't progress. Having investment companies lend money while holding your assets isn't a future.

@a6 If I'm reading it right, another selective default on buying back debt at a discount. It's not a default, default, where they don;t pay their bills, but it rattles debt issuers.

It makes issuing future bonds harder/impossible.

Darn! It looks like they posted somewhat positive news and brought that debt down by 200M. Don’t worry boys, we will get that meddling Xerox next quarter! You’ll see!

@a3 what does this mean?

It looks like they pulled another selective default on the 13.50% 2031 Senior Secured Notes.

I knew they took the SD on the 5.5% 2028 seniors, but this is new.

@OP I stopped watching these calls. They probably touted how it’s all turned around? How they are making money? That XRX is back and Wall Street has faith? Is that the essence of the call? If so - Step up LP and pay people more - you said July right? Well be a man and take care of those who work tirelessly for you day in and day out.

Why are you still even showing up here?
Xerox doesn’t care. I told you people this 6 years ago. No one listens because they think they know everything. Guess what?
Ya don’t. That or you are lazy and stubborn
