Sorry for the typos. I am on leave due to the mental toll this company has taken on me. Mentally drained isn't the word for it, I'm broken,mentally ra--d of and with no help.The racism from my new manager is unbelievable and the management knowing about s-xual predators Kurt Pisocki who recently took his life was still employed with the bank January 2026 and took his own life July 12026. There are other predators that i know of and spousal abusers still working for the bank. My workload was tripled and I brought it to my managers attention and was still expected to complete them which I did with no help. I want them to be held accountable for the world to see. The CEO going to Japan with 47 and all the fines the bank had are now all gone, with everyone who deals with 47 they crumble and Citi will.

@ae

That's Not the OP's point.

The OP was targeted and placed on the Layoff Hitlist WHILE she was on maternity leave.

The discussions and collusions about her getting laidoff may have begun months prior to her layoff, but the fact that she was perceived as a weak link or liability were drivers of her getting chosen to be a Citi Hunger Games Tribute!

I am dealing with the same issues for the last three years and aince the change of the DEI initiatives this company and my department has been horribel. I have had two Ethics complaints with documentation and was told i had no case which i wasn'tsurprised. Myself and at least eight othwr black women are seeking an attorney. I would love to brainstormand work with you to hold them accountablefor what they are doing.@aa

@ac once you accept your severance package, you have to sign a lease that releases your right to sue. So you essentially have two options. Either sue the bank, have no income and deal with a court battle that could last years on what if. Or you could take the money and go quietly. Most people choose the latter.

I’d sue.

Citi is a morally and ethically bankrupt company. What does is say about an organization and it's leaders who ruin middle class families en-mass and give themselves multi-million dollar raises? Who turn a blind eye to s-xism, racism, favor giving jobs overseas instead of Americans, and hiding s-xual offenders and keep them on the payroll. I know it may svck now, but trust me, you are better off.
