My PL informed us today that two members of our team (PDM in a Medicare market covering two states) took the VSP. Don't know who yet, but I'd imagine that info is coming soon. I'd say we have a fairly small team; eleven, counting me and our PL. What do you all think are the chances of more people getting axed when the layoffs begin? Prior to the last "reorganization," the team was only one state with six people counting me/PL, but we merged with another at that time. From what I've read here, there are some big ops-related changes re: Medicare coming, but I've not heard anything official yet.

"Reorganization" is an empty term that means absolutely nothing until they elaborate on it.
Leadership has stated over and over that reorganization will happen. They just don't know what it will look like.
My team is 9 people. 2 of us have been open about taking it and I think one other did. 2 have communicated to me their regrets that they didn't take it
@OP my team is not at all large. we are part of a bigger claims team, all under the same PL.
I fully expect a reorg of any claims/cob/etc teams. As it is now, the bigger team is made up of various states being worked & quite a lot of cross training has been done.
Yeah, I have no doubt I will wind up with a new PL/TL
@OP if you view the latest London Calling, I believe she says there will be more and soon.
@OP with the offshoring that is coming to the Medicare ops space it’s really hard to judge unfortunately.
