Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

More changes coming

Email went out announcing that the AVP for Wireless Supply Chain will transition to the N&T Fiber team in September.

I wonder what the next few weeks of shuffling and reorgs will look like.

@am very interesting theory. VPs get paid top dollars with a nice stock and benefit packages only to learn. That is a nice job to have.

@ad In theory they get more experience in other areas of the company.

I saw that email. It came from supply chain's new leader in London and said they planned for a smooth transition as they "prepare" the replacement. I think he has six direct reports and has been in supply chain since at least 2020 when he was a director. I wonder if he is getting locked into a safe place because supply is next up on the block.

Its more annoying to shift VPs from supply chain to network. Wtf is that?

@OP it’s that time of year when SD, AVP and VPs do the leader shuffle. If they have been in their current role more than 24 months, it’s time to move on.
