They are not hiring anyone, no matter where they are. Look at the white paper CK linked the other day in his email. They want engineering teams of 3-6 people. Do you really think they're going to achieve that by promoting more people to manager? Lol.
They're going to lay a ton of people off, because they delusionally believe the hype about automating all of product development, from conception to design to implementation. It doesn't matter who you are now, these greedy mfers genuinely think they can replace you with a chatbot.
Never mind that other companies already tried this strategy and had to abort because it's so disastrous. Reality doesn't matter in the 2020s anymore. Layoffs will boost their stock temporarily and that's all the executives care about.
I'm planning my exit strategy now and I'd do the same if I were you.m, colleagues.
@d7 let’s not talk about quality. Facts speak who runs the tech scene globally and can work twice as much as you pampered brat!
@d4 most of these are spam accounts from US or DE spreading hatred. Ignore these rotten r e c t u m s.
@d7 same with US, let them work in their own country..
@d4 India is cheap labor . It makes sense to use cheap labor for may be 20% reduction in quality . Nothing personal just business . When we were young we would use European and Japanese products for quality and long life . Now we use Chinese products if it breaks we throw it and get a new one . Software is the same now . Indians will help sap cut its bottom line . Bringing Indians to Germany does not cut it . Keep Indians in India and deliver with a base team in Germany. Sap HR has no power in sap . They just follow orders .
@d2 SAP's executive board doesn't want to replace Germans with Indians. They want to replace humans with AI. How much does SAP HR pay you to spread hatred on this site?
So stop trying to make this Germans vs Indians.
In reality, it is millionaire executives vs employees who are just trying to survive and beat inflation.
Sap should let go employees in Germany and hire in India .India can easily do what Germany does for cheaper . It is too heavy in Germany . We need only a barebones team in Germany .
@ab The current board is against VERP now. They instead want to make the culture horrible so employees leave by themselves.
Paying Europeans and Americans to leave, then hiring Indians, is a smart move!
That's a good idea !
Company don't like an employee anymore and it's not his/her fault then let's make a deal, shake hands and go our separate ways.
It makes sense to me!
