@av they obviously don’t have to pay more dividends doing a buy back

I still don't understand why they would be doing stock buy backs if they intended to sell.

I think you’re giving them more credit than is due. I do not believe they’re preparing for a sale, who would want us AND has the funds to buy us? We’re in far too much debt to be desirable. I think they really just don’t care about software delivery and even network implementations. They’re just trying to get to the MVP where P is people. Let us look more “scrappy”. Basically just do the minimum nothing new above that. Hence why they’re going after IT so aggressively they no longer desire to build or innovate software or networks. Instead they want to minimize that labor pool and maximize marketing. I don’t think they understand that all their former employees will leave Verizon as customers. Talk mad trash about the company. If they rebadge systems operators they will suddenly develop amnesia when it comes to these systems. The agency that takes over will bill them exorbitant fees for simple bug fixes. It’s all short term. Then they’re getting these senior leaders to architect the rebadging. Once the rebadge is complete they will axe all of those senior leaders. Then they’re getting these will begin hiring again because things no longer work and the agency is charging to much. That is exactly what is going to happen.

Man, verizon will be a shell of its former self.

Definitely stripping the company to prepare for a sale.

I don’t have any insight. My two cents is until our senior leadership can commit to us in giving us a straight answer. We should not commit to them in delivering new products and experiences. He made it very clear that they are deliberating over this. Fine then I am deliberating over rather or not I will have a job by years end.
