Looks like another major layoff is on its way. This one is probably going to happen on Aug 14th and is expected to be a major one. Mostly it’s going to impact IT it seems

@d8 satellite tech for mobile service is really only for rural areas. It doesn’t work well in urban areas where all the people are actually at. This isn’t going anywhere unless Amazon or Starlink decide to build a terrestrial network or buy one of the big 3. I don’t see that happening anytime soon.

Read the news folks. Musk hasn’t Starlink. Amazon just announced they want 5,000 plus satellites to offer phone service via satellite. The technology is changing. The overpaid managers of Verizon have been lagging. AOL, Yahoo, Bluejeans. Yea great investments for the future. Jump ship before the lifeboats are all gone.

Yeah a lot of people are demotivated already who have been working hard all these days..I guess like someone said the only thing that’s constant is change..
