5 year count down. Verizon will not have corporate locations. That is a good amount of time to transition to another job. Get paid. Get skilled. Move on. This place hasnt been a career for a long time.

Sure, if by “foreseeable future” you mean after iconic launch and Black Friday, get laid off right before Christmas
The stores are set to become authorized dealer. Verizon did state last year that they not looking to have any brick and mortar stores. They focus on doing phone sales virtually via the website.
Watch by 2030... no more corp stores.
Look at what you sell at the store! Can I go to best buy and get a phone and then call in to activate, yes.
Does verizon market device experiences? No.
What should verizon do with its stores?
Smart home eco system, small business plans,
Heck sell coffee or milk tea
Of course not! Verizon has been closing stores for YEARS at this point.
Look at when we used to have kiosks in Circuit City, BJs and Home Depot. Those were closed YEARS ago or divested.
Verizon will have no corporate footprint within a 2 hour drive from where I am.
It is only a matter of time until there are no more corporate stores.
I dont buy it.
