Although the exact day to announce this is still being decided to manage the optics, there will be significant layoffs in the it space shortly.

I left in June but the rumor then was lay offs effecting many depts would come in August. I do know some people who were lairs off throughout the summer but it was quietly done and just one person at a time.
Initial post was seven days ago. Are there any updates regarding when the IT employees will be laid off?
