New badge in badge out for office employees

My friend is a director in compliance and works with facilities CHQ & coming in 2027 hearing we’ll be implementing badge in badge out to ensure people are in the office. Also being said Q4 they’re advised to review reports of people who are not in 4 days a week. They were originally pursuing the idea of tying in office personnel, bonuses to days in office, but couldn’t make it equitable for the work from home employees..

Comcast had always cared more about sending jobs to India than anything else. An absolutely treasonous company. I pray for their demise.

Does anyone have insight or thoughts on if the new CEO and leadership team will roll back on this RTO mandate and the big brother badge in / badge out nonsense?

confused what does employees in the office have to do with people ditching xfinity for fixed wireless. seems like that would be strategy and marketing issue. maybe fix that first

Did they validate this with the fire dept? Why don't they just put rfids on everyone. Or make them wear cameras on their heads to watch what they are doing?

out here is CA it has been 4 days office/or field for construction specialists (called NPM since 6/2023). but like outside sales people, no strict daily badging requirement if you go directly to the construction job site or customer location first thing in the morning. i know a lot of women in our department prefer to stay in the office since they were former coordinators who got "promoted" into the NPM role. The 4 days a week badging in and out won't be an issue with them.

@fn yes, but currently 3 days is the minimum before you go "on the list"

For all of April, I did not go into the office once. I am sure I ended up on someone's bad list but I retired on May 1. It looks like I made the correct choice.

With all these changes, people at the top have forgotten about the core value of caring for its employees and their needs. Everything is turning so big brother-ish and it’s disheartening.
